Gemma Williams

Say hello to Gemma

Here we feature a different woman in the Brow Confidence community and ask her about her first brow experiences, the lessons she’s learned, and her top brow tips.

Meet BC woman Gemma Williams, a stylist who likes her brows full, soft and a bit fierce.

Name: Gemma Williams
Age: 33
Occupation: Stylist

1. Tell us about your first brow grooming experience?

It would have been when I was about 13 years old, at a beautician who enjoyed waxing a little too much. It seemed to be all about a good arch back then. Yikes. Also, I don’t remember there ever being instructions on how to style or groom brows back then.

2. What is your current brow routine?

I would say visiting Lien every 8 weeks for a brow trim/pluck and tint is a core part of my routine. In between visits, I love either M.A.C Cosmetics Pencil in Fling or a cheapie dupe from Maybelline (brow precise micro pencil) and also Maybelline Brow Drama Mascara. Oh, and outlining with some concealer is really my favourite thing and one of Lien’s best tips.

3. What does brow confidence mean to you?

Brow confidence is brows that frame and complement your face. I like mine full, soft and a bit fierce.

4. How did you find out about Lien?

All the fab ladies with fab brows in my social feeds seemed to go to Lien so I just knew I had to track her down. I saw her on her first visit to Melbourne about four years ago and have been going to her ever since then. Not only is she some sort of brow magician, but she is also such a lovely and inspiring lady to hang out with.

5. Describe your brows in three words:

Full and fabulous.
