Meet BC woman Melissa Martunaro who took her brows from “tortured” to “bold and beautiful”.

1. Tell us about your first brow grooming experience?

It was at a salon where I had my brows tinted, waxed, and plucked. They were just tortured, and it was in the days when thinner brows and higher arches were 'in'. Looking back, my brows were too thin, not symmetrical, and didn't complement my face.

2. What is your current brow routine?

I brush them into place with a brow gel setter. I absolutely love the Benefit 24-hr Brow Setter which Lien recommended. I also pluck strays in between brow appointments.

Feeling confident and sexy because I know I look the best version of myself!

4. How did you find out about Lien?

I found Lien through a Google search. I had been unhappy with my brows for a while and had tried various salons that missed the mark. I remember after I had my eyebrows devastatingly over-waxed (after growing them out for months), I was done with having bad brows. I was on a mission to find the best brow artist in Sydney.

I came across Lien's profile and knew that I had to reach out to her. There was something about Lien's confidence, her unique approach and that she understood what it took to create mind-blowing brows. We scheduled a chat before our first appointment, and I sent her my photos so she could she assess my brow situation. I found Lien to be very personable and was so impressed by her precision in technique. She even used a ruler!

5. Biggest lesson you’ve taken away?

I used to think full brows meant not taming them as much (I honestly was too scared to pluck too much), which gave me very rounded undefined brows that weren't that flattering for my face. Lien showed me how you can still achieve full brows with a great shape.
