1. Tell us about your first brow grooming experience.
Not sure I would describe it as a grooming experience but rather a brow massacre. One inflicted by my 12-year-old self with a pair of tweezers and a magnifying mirror as weapons of choice. The ’90s have a lot to answer for.
2. What is your current brow routine?
Some light plucking and trimming once a week, to maintain the shape between appointments, plus clear brow gel to keep them in place, and occasionally a brow pencil to give a bit more fullness. More importantly, I can’t go a day without brushing my eyebrows, it makes all the difference!
3. What does brow confidence mean to you?
That one should love their own eyebrows, even with their imperfections.
4. How did you find out about Lien?
Through Instagram, and I’m so glad I did. At that time, my eyebrows had been severely abused and thinned by another salon. Their proposed solution to the thinness was to tattoo. Luckily, Lien was there to course correct the future of my eyebrows.
5. Biggest lesson you’ve taken away?
Enjoy the journey and appreciate what you have. You never know if your eyebrows will ever re-grow, but you can always adapt your brow routine to get the most out of them.
6. Describe your brows in three words:
Uniquely my own.
Brow Confidence is about building a community of women that want a better future for their brows.
