1. Tell us about your first brow grooming experience?
I was 14 and I had finally convinced my mum to let me get my eyebrows waxed. The beautician advised that I needed to get my forehead waxed too. Obviously, I obliged… I remember waking up the next day red and with pimples all over my forehead. It was downhill from there until I met Lien!
2. What is your current brow routine?
A brush through in the morning, followed by some brow pomade through the front and tail, and a touch of brow mascara.
3. What does brow confidence mean to you?
It took me a really long time to get there, but it means having confidence in my natural brows and not being afraid to step out of the house with bare brows.
4. How did you find out about Lien?
I had just had a nightmare of a brow wax, and I scoured the internet for the best brows in Sydney. I came across Lien (thank God I did!) and sent her an enquiry. She called me soon after for a chat and I recall crying on the phone while Lien attempted to console a complete stranger. I was extremely nervous about my first appointment. Lien was amazing and made me feel so comfortable. She was completely honest from the outset and warned me it wouldn’t be a quick fix. I knew from that point my brows were in good hands.
5. Biggest lesson you’ve taken away?
Put the tweezers down.
6. Describe your brows in three words:
Beautiful, bold, natural.
Brow Confidence is about building a community of women that want a better future for their brows.
