Claire Nicolas

Say hello to Claire

Here we feature a different woman in the Brow Confidence community and ask her about her first brow experiences, the lessons she’s learned, and her top brow tips.

Meet BC woman Claire Nicolas, a brand manager who feels confident after getting her brows done.

Name: Claire Nicolas

1. Tell us about your first brow grooming experience?

My mum grabbing the tweezers and plucking my eyebrows after me nagging for some time!

2. What is your current brow routine?

I see Lien every 5-6 weeks and in between, I tweeze any stray hairs. Everyday (without fail) I fill in the front and the ends ever so slightly and use some soap to set them.

“That good brows come through dedication and commitment and require someone who cares to help take care of them.”

3. What does brow confidence mean to you?

Having my brows done gives me confidence. When they are well-groomed I instantly feel ‘put together’, and ready to face the world.

4. How did you find out about Lien?

I had always admired Zoë Foster Blake’s brows and she tagged Lien in a pic on Insta – I stalked Lien’s page and loved what I saw, so I got on the phone right away to book in. Six years on, it’s been the best beauty decision I’ve ever made.

After my first appointment, I remember being so happy and finally feeling understood. I had always felt there was something not right with the shape of my brows and right away Lien pointed out they were too highly arched and that the brow product I was using was not right for my colouring. She balanced my brows, used the right product and all of a sudden my face looked less harsh and well-framed.

“Six years on, it’s been the best beauty decision I’ve ever made.”

5. Biggest lesson you’ve taken away?

That good brows come through dedication and commitment and require someone who cares to help take care of them. It’s crazy to expect that someone can create the right brow shape for your face, and to create symmetry while laying down with hot wax on your face all in a 5-minute timeframe.

6. Describe your brows in three words:

Full, defined, and I can’t think of the third!

Brow Confidence is about building a community of women that want a better future for their brows.
